Wanna learn more about Nicole?

Since she was a child, Nicole Lodato has always been intrigued by all forms of art. Makeup became incredible to her after watching “A Nightmare on Elm Street” without her parents’ permission at the age of 7. While refusing to go to sleep later that night her mother explained to her that it “was just a man with a lot of makeup on”.  This statement kick-started her curiosity of how makeup could be used to transform people.  In high school and college she took art classes as electives despite being a psychology major.  She knew that she wanted to help people feel better about themselves, but she also knew she did not want to be a doctor.  Taking some time off, she decided to enroll in massage therapy school. Although she liked the hands on work she was missing her need to be creative and artistic.  Finally, she decided to pursue her passion that she had been practicing in her down time for years, makeup. She graduated from Make-Up Designory in New York where she studied a wide range of beauty and special fx makeup application techniques.

Currently she is working on perfecting the artistry of beauty and special fx makeup. She is doing so by collaborating with New York-based photographers and modeling agencies to help build her portfolio.  She hopes to one day be able to work with movie directors in bringing life to the characters that they dream of.  She aspires to work with famous actors and models. She is not a big fan of the cold weather and, although being born and raised in New Jersey, is not opposed to moving to Los Angeles.
